Test kit chems

Hi, no change in color, my question I have ran out of the R-0871 is the R-0600 that is used in the Taylors test kit
the same chem and will it do the same job till I get more R-0871.

r-0871 is titrating reagent used in fas-dpd chlorine test, r-0600 is Orthotolidine i am no expert but if they have dif chemical names and they are both Taylor i would have to say the are not the same. hope this helps Ric

no, they are not the same at all....you will have to get more of the R-0871 before you can do another FAS-DPD test.
