One of two skimmers not working

Hello again
I just opened our in-ground pool. It seems the skimmer (have 2) farthest from the filter is not working. I tried plugging the primary skimmer or closest to the filter but still no good. Any ideas??

Fixed!!!

Each of the skimmers had a "Gizmo" screwed into it. I "Assumed" each was for the filter but turns out there was another plug to undo at the bottom of the skimmer. The one sealed by the Gizmo was for the water fall.
