Vacuuming Procedural Question....

Hello All,
Newbie here...just want to verify i'm doing this right.
We have 2 main drains, 2 skimmers, 6 in floor returns and 2 wall returns.
When vacuuming what i have been doing is keeping everything on with the exception of the opposite skimmer (the one not being used for the vacuum hose).
Seem ok or should some other valves be off as well?

If your vacuum is picking up everything well, then it's fine. But if it seems that you aren't getting quite enough power, then try closing something else and see if that helps.
