Does anyone have a suggestion for dealing with the either yellow metal, or brass inserts on the Jacuzzi inlet assemblies and skimmer faceplate inserts. I have been running into quite a few recently while replacing liners. The problem is that the insert anchor starts to spin with the screw. The reason is either corrosion or, I suspect a mineral buildup in the threads. I have tried to use a penetrating oil, and or mineral dissolving agent, but still wind up with one or two per pool. Also is there any suggestions for insert replacement? I have been using helicoils and other similar products, but would appreciate any suggestions.
