SWCG placement

Hello all

I realized today that my PB plumbed the SWCG (Jandy AquaPure) before my heatpump Jandy AE2000. I looked up the installation instructions for both units and both suggest that the SWCG should be behind the heatpump.

Would this void my warranty on my heatpump? Should I ask my PB to move it?

It might. The cell is supposed to be plumed after the filter and heater as the last piece of equipment so high chlorine levels don't go through the equipment.

Don't just aks him to move it...demand that it is installed properly!

I got this response from Jandy service today:

Hello,

Yes, the chlorinator should be the last thing in line and if it is not, this will void the warranty.
