My pool builder wants to install the vinyl liner however there is still water seeping in the bottom deep end hoppper. He placed hydraulic cement on the hopper floor but the water is still leaking in around the two main drains.
Should I have the pool builder wait until the bottom is completely dry?
Is this acceptable to place a vinyl liner with some water in the hopper?
I know that once the liner is in place that the outside water will hit the liner then run someplace else. I have installed a french drain around the walls of the pool but right now the outside water has no place to go but in the hooper. The only other thought is to let it completely dry out and I have no idea how long that will take since we have been so much rain in nc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
