I noticed when I dont have my skimmer running that in the morning there are these white crystal looking things floating on top of water. You can barely see them. I turn skimmer on and they are gone. I have 0 trees near my house. My buddy has the same thing in his pool. I have AG pool. its a easy set pool with a cartridge filter pump. Only a week old. All my levels are good so Im curious to what it is. If I was using powder chlorine instead of bleach I would say it looks like it came from that not mixing up, but who knows.

Probably pollen and the fine white dandylion puff seeds coagulating together. I have the same thing and that is what my guess is.
Interesting, I had the sam thing a few weeks ago. But here lately I have not noticed the almost clear substance. It could have been pollen or dandylion...
Lately we have these white fluffy seed pods that float on the slightest breeze I haven't noticed them in the pool but I suspect they'd look like you describe if they landed there. Most likely dandelions.
