Hi all, I have been lurking for a couple months, learning about how to get my pool chemicals right. I found out I need to backflush quite a bit of water out of my pool due to hardness but my push/pull valve was jammed up. I finally was able to disassemble it and the o-rings are shot.

I have been looking everywhere for replacements and have not had much luck. Can someone help?

Here is my best guess at the o-ring specs based on the slot they are supposed to fit into:
1 5/16 I.D. or 33.3375 mm I.D.
1 13/16 O.D. or 46.0375 mm O.D.
1/4 Wall or 6.35 mm Wall

I am going to have to replace the entire valve? I can't find o-rings anywhere and my pool is starting to get very dirty. :)

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Sta-Rite bought them and then Pentair bought Sta-Rite. See the Pentair web site. You should be able to find the part numbers and search out a supplier.

I think I found it! This is by far the most active and best forum for anything I have ever seen. Thanks so much!

For others with the same slide valve:
Here it is on Pentair's website: http://www.pentairpool.com/pool-pro/par ... es-17.htm#

and the o-ring is one of the following two:
http://www.poolproducts.com/SPP/product ... OME&FNM=90
or
http://www.poolproducts.com/SPP/product ... OME&FNM=90

Thanks again,
Dan

Just a note; Lowes and Ace Hardware both carry a large selection of o-rings. For anybody needing o-rings and can't find them you may want to give them a try. They'll most likely be EPDM but that's ok for pool use.
