Do I just need some POP?

Opened the pool last Fri. Green swamp. Added 18 gallons the 1st day, within hours we were foggy blue.

Keeping my FC at 16.
My FC held over night but my CC is still at 1.

We have about 1 foot of visibility in the pool. We are blue so thats a good thing... just wondering if since we are still murky if I need to keep up with the bleach or is just time to find my POP?

I also have read that with a sand filter it can take a while to clear up, and that is what we have.

Your CC is still > 0.5 so you need to continue shocking until your CC is < 0.5.

Are you running the filter 24/7?

Sunshine may help burn off the CC. One more day ought to do it.
