after only having 4 days experience with a pool I have a nice blue pool :whoot:
I even backwashed my DE filter today double---> :whoot:

I had a big laugh when I was hauling like 30 jugs and somebody asked if I had a cleaning service.

but now I'm on to the next step....fixing my ph (or any other number that needs fixing). I went to the pool calcula :grrrr: and I cant figure it out.

here are my numbers....

fc 17.5
cc .5
TA 100
ch 200
cya 50
ph 6.8

thanks

at an FC of 17.5 it is likely your PH is lower than 6.8. (High FC reads false high PH) As you let your FC come down to below 10 (8 is your target) you will get a more accurate PH reading, but for now (in a 36k gal pool) I would add 3-4 boxes of borax as some insurance, while wait for the FC to come down to target level. That should be enough to raise PH by 0.4 or so...6.8 is fairly low for pool PH
