Well my wife and I are soon to be pool newbies! Having a pool is something I have wanted to do since I was a kid. I put it off for lots of reasons but last year, after buying my new house, I decided to do it. A conversation with DW and some additional savings later we have started the process. We expect to get a dig date next week and have been assured of a pool party by the 4th of July :-D . My one reservation about doing was always the "hassle" involved. This forum has solved that problem for me. Now I feel like I've got 8000 friendly neighbors with their own pools and experience. I will post pics throughout the construction. Wish us luck!

I am constantly defending the ease of having a pool. Even before TFP I didn't really consider it a big burden until last year when I was constantly on the verge of an algae bloom. Now, after TFP...wow!! Even easier!
