I call Power Powder Plus 65% and Power Powder Pro 73%. They both vary a little, but Plus claims at least 65% in their marketing literature, while Pro claims at least 73%.

My pH seems to be dropping. It's at about 6.8 now. Should I worry? Last TA check was 140.
If I remember correctly you have been using trichlor tablets. Trichlor adds chlorine and CYA, and also lowers the PH.
You need to add some borax to bring the PH back up to something more reasonable. Remember to only adjust PH when FC is below 10.

I used only 1 3" tablet. That's the only tablet I've ever put in this pool. 
Okay, so I I've been shocking to 30, and just did a 1 hour test. 29!!!! I added a little more CalHypo, according to the Pool Calculator, but I opened my case of 12% bleach for future adjustments.
I don't want to get too excited... but I think I might have it beat!!!

Ok, with no trichlor I shocked again last night. I shocked to 30 at 7:30 PM and got these chlorine results
8:30 FC 23.5 (shocked back to 30)
9:30 FC 29;CC 2 (shocked back to 30)
10:30 FC 25; CC 1.5 (shocked back to 30)
3:00 AM 14.5; CC .5 (did not shock)
Then this AM.

I didn't lose all my chlorine... do I still need to shock? The pool is a little cloudy, but very clear.

If you went from 30ppm FC down to 8ppm FC in ~9hours you definitely need to keep shocking!
Remind me how you're testing, that CYA number doesn't look like a normal Taylor or TF kit number?

Well, it is the TF kit. It was between 30 and 40, not half way, but closer to 40. So I estimated.

I added a box of borax this AM. And since I wouldn't be home to shock, I did put in a tablet. (Since the CYA was below 40 I didn't think it would hurt too much.) I'll take it out when I get home, and do some more CalHypo.
Could my borate be low? I'm wondering where I stand. Am I doing enough? Or am I falling behind?
Also, should I keep trying to shock at Mustard Algae Shock level? Or drop back to regular shock?
Never mind!!! I shocked to 27 at 6:00 PM tonight... at 8 PM, it's still at 27!!!!! AND 0 CC!!!
That's the highest FC I've tested (I saw 26 once) and the darkest pink I've seen.
I'll do another full test at 10:00PM and tomorrow AM but this is awesome!!! The pool looks great too!

It looks much better - the soonest you can check that PH (when the FC is down in the normal range) get it checked...
Yea, this AM when it was down to 8 FC I poured in a box of 20 mule. I'll do two more tomorrow when the FC number drops. Hopefully that will be when I get home in the afternoon, and not first thing in the morning.

Yes, Since you lost 11ppm FC overnight (even if some of it was sunlight).
You need to keep shocking until you can prove you're losing 1ppm FC or less & have .5ppm CC's overnight.
