Hayward Leak?

After I backwashed my filter today, I noticed a considerable amount of water running down the filter...
I wiped it down and it was still slowly coming out...

Is it just backwash pressure or is the oring/gasket going bad?
There were a dozen or so little bugs fleeing the scene... right where the two piece seal ring comes together...

Did you try to tighten the split clamp a little with the pressure off of it?

No, I will though... I did tighten it, but the filter was on at the time... It wasn't lose at that time... I will definitely try it in the morning... thanks for the suggestion.

The water did slow down to a very super slow drip.... but it was still wet just a few minutes ago.

I have no idea who I was kidding... I went out as soon as I finished the post and got a good full turn or so more on each screw...

tighten it with the filter off, and also press down on the handle to relief some pressure while tightening
