I think I know the answer: patience.

Bad algae when I opened. Luckily I can get 15 gal drums of 12.5 chlorine and have gone through about 4 over 2-3 weeks. It's now holding pretty well though I haven't been able to do the over night test...but I can say I'm not having to add much during the day to keep it up to around 10. Bottom is fairly clean but can't see it very well...judging by the out flow from vac to waste. The socks in the filters are now staying pretty clean...before they would clog pretty quick.

I'm tempted to floc (sp?) it but I think your counsel will be to just keep the pump running, vacuum and have patience?

Comments? Thanks in advance. Steve
