I've been waging war against residual organics(green algae) in my below ground, concrete pool. The water is clear now and my values are consistently right, but the detritus left from the battle is laborious even with a wire brush. Is there a product available to loosen this sticky stuff, or does anyone have a suggestion that would make the task easier?

Keeping your FC a little on the high side according to the chlorine/CYA chart should help you a good bit if it's truely algae.
