In the process of replacing the sand in my filter, I removed the laterals. #7 gave me a hard time screwing it back in and I heard the plastic crack. I tried to take it back out and it really broke. In the process of trying to get the stupid thing out the only piece left is the threaded piece and I've tried everything trying to get it out without damaging the threads to no avail. Has this happened to anyone here? How did you fix it? At this point I am almost ready to block it off. Taking it apart isn't an option, it works fine, so I won't tempt fate.
