Mixing liquid and solid.

My summer season is split between the cottage at the lake and my pool in the city. The split goes about 7 days at the lake in the country followed by 7 days at my home in the city. While away, the system runs on 3 inch trichloro-triazinetrione "pucks" in the chlorinator. When I am at home, I prefer to use 12% liquid chlorine. Can this "mixture" of ingredients become a potential problem generator ???
Standing by for your kind advice.
Thank you.

Welcome to TFP.

Using both, even at the same time is no problem, as long as they don't mix before they are in the pool water. You need to watch your CYA level though, as my pool tends to use chlorine at a rate that gives me a 15ppm CYA increase every two weeks, which can result in excessive CYA by the end of the summer.
