2 wire Low voltage Led

Does there need to be a #8 grd in the pvc conduit between the Jbox and the light Nich if it is a 12 volt 2 wire system?

The pool guy already filled the pool so I'm looking for options

Ours does not have a ground wire going from the j-box to the lights. Ours doesn't even have a ground wire going from the 12vac transfomer to the j-box.

No extra wire needed between Jbox and niche. If the jbox is close to pool it should be bonded with the rest of the loop if 120v transforms to 12v there. If the niche is your water bond the outside lug needs to bond back to the Jbox them tie into rest of bonding grid
