Ive got a Sand Dollar sand filter, on the multiport valve it has a 2 threads, one inside (its 1.5" pipe thread) and one on the outside (looks to be 2-2.5"), i havnt been able to find ANYTHING to connect to the outside thread, i was hoping i could find something to use instead as it might be easier to disconnect it when needed. Any ideas what can be used to connect to the outside thread on these multiport valves?

The outside threads should be 2" IPS. You'll need to find 2" female threaded couplings to fit them. Big box stores usually carry them. I know I've seen them at Lowes and I sure HD and Menards have them too. I didn't see any indication of the size on their website but it should be 2".
