Skimmer not effective

Uncle Dave, Your signature states you have both the Pool Skimmer and the Pool Devil. I am considering purchasing one of these units and have some questions. Which one works best? If you were buying only one which one would you buy? Is the Pool Skimmer worth 3 times more than the Pool Devil and why?
