Best mesh cover for AG pool

My cover is shredded after this last winter. It's also filled with leaves and gunk. I have been checking out online vendors of mesh pool covers and the difference in prices is pretty big.

$118 - http://www.poolcenter.com/winter_covers_enviromesh.htm
$299 - http://www.blueoceanpools.com/product_i ... i/16/pi/37

Does anyone have advice about what the difference is? I'd rather not drop 3 benjamins, but i don't want something that i have to throw away after 3 years like my current cover.

Thanks,

i will bump this post...I am looking for the same thing...a mesh cover that is FINE enough to keep all the "garbage" out of the pool water like small twigs, leaves, seeds from overhead trees that I will put on top of my solar cover. I certainly do not want to put on my solid, winter cover every single night. so looking for a nice, fine mesh cover.

Dan

Actually, I am planning ahead for next season. My solar cover works fine for keeping out leaves etc during the summer.

My winter cover is pretty beat up though, and I like the idea of something that I do not need to clean out. Also, the inflatable pillow pulls the grommets and tears them. It has only been three years, but I don't think the current cover set up isn't going to work anymore.

I got an Artic Armor leaf net - it's holes are basically as small as a mesh net - maybe just a hair bigger. There is nothing under it now after a fall, winter and spring of everything blowing (we are in the country!). It's held up really really well and I'm VERY happy with the results. Clear water - all I had to do was go out and skim it occasionally!! So if you don't want the leaf net, I'd recommend the brand Arctic Armor anyway!!
