Cloudy water after shocking

Could be that I'm backwashing too frequently? We've had a lot of live oak flowers in the pool the last month...they break up into little crumbs and go right through the baskets.

What's the rule of thumb for backwashing?

If you have don't have a manual to refer to - it can be anywhere from a 6-10 rise in the PSI. Note the "clean" pressure for future reference.

This could also be a chemistry issue, so if you can provide test results we can determine more.
