Hi everyone, my numbers are
FC 6
C.C .5
TC 6.5
TA 50
PH 7.4
CYA 45

It seem that my TA is a bit low, but my Ph is very stable. So I am kind of hesitant to change the TA. The pool is very clear.

Just keep an eye on the PH - if it starts to shift (in either direction) then raise the TA up to 60-70. Sometimes very low TA can even cause the PH to go up.

well i would have to say no,to these being my opening numbers. I have been open since end of march. But i have not done anything to them but bleach and a lilttle acid.. Ph seems to be more stable this year then last year. We swam yesterday all day long. the water was 90 deg and so nice... wife and i like it warm the kids like it colder, so you know who won this time.

I wouldn't let the TA go below 50, but 50 should be alright. Actually, with borates it is totally fine. Without borates it can potentially allow the PH to swing around a little too much. In practice it has proven livable for most people who have tried it.

cool will try and keep it there.. i dont want to do borates, just another thing to keep adjusted.
