Bugs? What do I do?

I am not having a very good pool day

We fished out a mouse this afternooon from the bottom of the pool. Cleaned out another bird's nest and found a screen to cover the grotto to prevent them from building nests and making a huge mess in there.

I just noticed these bugs. Mostly in the shallow end in clumps. They look like the size of pepper and jerk around really fast. It reminds me of something you would see in a pond.

Does anyone know what these are and what causes them?

Mosquito larva would be my guess. That is the only thing I know of that "jerks' around and lives in water. :?

If that's what it is the chlorine will take care of it.
