Liner Spots

I just had the pool company out to look at my liner for some spots that are right at the point of the shallow to deep end of the pool. He said they are from the polaris running over the area and causing the color to come off of the liner. It is all the way across the pool in a straight line of this drop off. The pool is about 11 months old know and if this is the case I will get another cleaner. He also told me this is what the liner companies have told him in the past. Has anyone seen this? Thanks

I remember another thread where a cleaner was blamed for liner fade but I can't find it right now to see what the final outcome was. Is it a sharp transition where the fading is?

Yes it is sharp and it is white spots along that ledge.
