Opened today...

to a nice sparkly pool. :-D We brought it up to shock level in October, covered and have done nothing to it since. Now if the water temp wasn't 60 degrees, it'd be perfect to jump right in. lol

Here's my opening numbers:

FC-5.5
CC- 0
ph- 7.3
TA- 80
CYA- 40
Borates- 30

Should I go ahead and top the CYA up to 50 and the borates as well or leave them as is?

Those numbers look good. You didn't list CH but if it's ok go ahead and up the CYA to your normal level then after that you can bump up your borates if you want.

Thanks for the replies. I went ahead and tied off some nylons with a little CYA to bump it up. Then will add a little Borax and acid this weekend.
