We are builing a pool and we have a "seat" extremely close to the dive rock. Is there something we can purchase to make the seat soft in case a chld jumps wrong and hits the ledge?

Is the dive rock already set in place? Perhaps it needs a new location.
Personally, I can't think of anything that would make the seat "soft" enough to be able to counter the impact forces from someone who is diving or jumping. I also don't know how mechanically, it could be done.
How close is the rock to the seat? Do you have any pictures that you can post?
