Zeobrite Particles in pool

I have Zeo particles in my pool because the installer didn't tell me to backwash my filter before I turned it on to circulate in the pool. I used a Clarifier/Floc and now the particles are on the bottom.

My problem is my stairs have not been installed yet and I have no deck yet so when I try to vacuum to waste I just stir things up.

Can I let this stuff go to my filter and backwash?

Thanks in advance.

BTW all my testing is good. no problems there. Water is clear now just have a mess on the bottom.

Yes, you can vacuum it up into the filter and then backwash it out. Vacuuming it up, without having the motion of the vacuum blow it back into the water, requires a steady hand and very slow movements. It isn't especially difficult, but it can sometimes take a while to get the hang of it without a demonstration.
