I purchased the Pool Cleaner many months ago but only trying to set up today. This is probably a stupid question but it talks about using the regulator valve if there is no 3 way valve for suction control. What 3 way value are they talking about. I have a designated port for the cleaner, my skimmer and main drain are on separate lines. Is that what they are referring to? I just don't want to screw this up as I had it so long and never tried to use it.

Yeah, at the equipment pad you likely have a valve to open and close your dedicated cleaner line. Adjust the suction there.
