I recently purchased a home with a 16,000 gallon IG plaster pool and 36sqft DE filter. . .even more recently I've discovered that I don't know squat about pool maintenance so here i am!!! I'm sure I'll have some questions for you guys/gals in the near future so I wanted to introduce myself first. I'll be sure and do my research before posting too many redundant threads/questions and I'll always try to post test results(those that i can currently test anyhow). Thanks for having me here, I look forward to learning from this forum and enjoying my pool this season. . .I'm already enjoying the 72* water temperature that I have down here in Texas!!!

Hey jetcycles, nice to see someone else in the area! Well, it's not quite the same area as you, I live about 45 minutes north of you up 146. I used to go through Shoreacres on the way to Kemah all the time! Small world...anyways, hope you get that pool cleared up soon!
