SWG tester?

I am fixing to install my new SWG and was wondering if i should to also invest in a Salt meter. I have the complete testing kit now and can monitor chlorine,ph, cya,... . I know the IC40 indicates if proper salt level is being maintained, but would a salt meter still be a smart investment or just something i would get very little use out of?

Thanks

A salt meter can be a fun toy, but is almost never needed. Unless something goes wrong you only need one salt test when you first install the SWG to see what you starting salt level is. After that you can just add a little more salt any time the unit says the salt level has gotten too low (unless the water is really cold, in which case ignore it till the water warms up over 60).
