Are there all year thermometers?

Here in Central PA, we do get freezing temps in winter.
I'm just wondering... are there thermometers that can be left in all year? Perhaps read remotely?

For instance, I have an indoor/outdoor thermometer for the air I can read in the house with the sensor outside. Is there something like that for pools?
