Update on Field Calibration for the Intellichlor IC40

If there is no flow, the cell cannot take a salt reading. Your red flow light indicates no flow according to what the cell sees. You should remove the cell and check/replace your flow switch, 520736.

I removed the cell and visually inspected the flow switch. Looks good (nothing stuck or obstructing, looks clean). What kind of check can I make to know the flow switch is the problem (before I spend $80.00 on the replacement flow switch)?

You can push it in the direction of flow to see if the light turns green. If not, the switch is bad.
