glad to share...the solar panel worked great in conjuction with a solar cover. I just bought another panel for this season. One panel definately helped, but the BTU output was borderline for a 24' pool, but you can't beat free heat. Thankfully for me the pump and panel area is behind my pool and deck, so not visible from our patio area, hence I just lay them on the ground over landscaping fabric in full sun next to the pump/filter.
Even with the single panel, our pool was consistently 5-10 deg warmer than our neighbors AGP. For a 27' if you consider solar, I would think you need a minimum of 3 panels.
