    Robot cleaner with larger pool?

Anyone have experience using one of the robotic pool cleaners on a larger pool?

Most of them say they're for pools "up to 20' X 40' "

My pool is L-shaped, basically 20 by 40 with a 13 by 13 added on.

One salesman I talked to thought the cord would be too short (which seems easy enough to solve if that's actually the limiting factor).

The bigger models are significantly more expensive.

    Thanks for any info!

If the manufacturer says 20x40 limit, you can be sure it will do a poor job on your pool. You'll be disappointed you didn't get something larger.

Bought a 20 by 40 capacity unit, the Kleen Machine, for $350 from Costco. Covers the whole pool quite well. Especially compared to the commercial unit that Aquabot recommended and costs $2k+
