    Calcium Deposits

Is it inevitable that even with a properly balanced pool, you will still get white calcium deposits from time to time? What's the best way to get rid of them. I've used a muratic acid mixture in the past, but I'm a little concerned about using too much of it on the same areas. It's always the same places - where the spa spills over into the pool and where the sheer descents are located.

I use a mixture of tile soap and muriatic acid....works great! (You can get tile soap at most pool supplies, it comes in 1 gallon jugs)
