Has anyone made their own attachments or braces for the panels on the roof. I saw the kit that you can get and it looks like basic strapping and screws.

With my EPDM panels, they used some of the panel material as straps and screws within inserts for a tile roof.
I have a sungrabber (2) 2x20 panels in the mail. The strap system looks like something that can be purchased at homedepot. I know that I can go under the top shingle and I wanted to be able to go under the bottom shingle. Thinking of maybe aluminum L bracket on the bottom?
