How To Obtain Goldline/Hayward Warranty

Any recommendations on obtaining warranty on a Goldline/Hayward Aqua Collection Turbo Cell, T-Cell 15, driven by a Aqua Logic AQL-P-4, invoice date 08/23/07, date code *5E0706, purchased with a pool kit online! Suggested local warranty centers by Hayward have not been cooperative in even inspecting the unit for return to the factory for review, maybe since they did not sell the unit originally. The defective unit has been changed with a known good unit from another similar system and performs perfectly.

This would seem to warrant a direct call to Goldline support. I believe there is a 5 year warranty... we have nearly identical equipment installed the same month in 2007, but I've never had to test the warranty service.
