    BBB for a Beginner

    I just balanced my pool using baking soda . I want to stabilize it now using borax how do I determine how much borax and acid if need be to stabilize it I have a 30000 gal. pool

    You all may want to go to soapgoods.com for what appears to be great prices for baking soda , borax and many other products in bulk

    Your PH and TA are fine as is, no need to add borax, which would raise your PH too high.

    Pool Calculator, see the link in my signature, can calculate the amounts you need to use to add borates to your pool.

    I purchased the app for my iPhone a couple of days ago, and it is the best $5.00 I've ever spent! Anybody who spends any time at all maintaining their pool will benefit from the Pool Calculator. I would strongly endorse it, and I think I can since I am just another satisfied customer
