    Hybrid heating system

Anyone have a Solar- Hybrid heating system for their pool?

Im looking at acompany that offers a Solar water heater solution that is used in conjunction with a gas heater. Gas will come on only if the solar heater can't fulfill the demand.

We selected a gas heater becasue we have a spa and a heat pump wouldn't work so well for us situation, but Im fearfulof the New Jersey cost od Nat gas. Additionally I have a 3 yr old and realize that our spa will most likely be a Kiddie pool for the first few years. lol

That said, Im looking at this Solar Hybrid system as an alternative to 100% gas

That's a very reasonable solution, and I think fairly common.

    Easy Touch handles this situation.

The 3 year old needs to start learning to swim. If a 3 year old can run, then they can swim too. Start the lessons! The YMCA has classes for this age group.

I put mine at the Y at 6 months. He's almost 3 1/2 and loves the water. He's in "Pike" right now.

Mine was in at 6 months also. River Rat at about the same time! He's 17 now and pools have been a part of his whole life.
