You should be OK so long as you keep the saturation index zero or a little below. I presume you must have a very low TA of around 50 ppm and a pH of around 7.5 or so. Just be careful to not let the pH creep up. Having 50 ppm Borates in the water can help slow down the rate of pH rise and prevent scaling.
