Ntro's article on how to use chlorine in a spa/hot tub (https://www.troublefreepool.com/threads/9670-How-do-I-use-Chlorine-in-my-Spa-(or-pool)) recommends starting up the sanitizer phase by adding dichlor for the first several days until you've got your CYA levels to your target level and then switch to bleach. Given this, it would be nice to be able to use the CYA calculator parts of PoolMath or the Pool Calculator to figure out just how much dichlor you need to add over those initial days to get your CYA level to that target but you can't because both those calculators only offer you the choice of using Stablizer or Liquid Stabilizer to calculate adjustments to the CYA levels. I think it would be really handy if at least one of these calculators would also give you the option of calculating CYA adjustments using either dichlor or trichlor. Having these options would also be nice for when your CYA level has dropped a bit due to attenuation and you want to boost it back up by using dichlor or trichlor instead of bleach over the next day or whatever amount of time it would take you to boost CYA to wherever you want it and still maintain FC within your desired range.
Is this something that could be done? Pretty please?
