I've got a inground pool with sand filter.
We're forcast to have the lowest temps in 14 years this weekend.
Around 25 degrees for two days.

Should I drain the filter or keep it running all day/night?

I doubt you'll have any problem with the filter freezing... the smaller diameter pipes would be first. Lots of folks in your area are running 24/7 but with the temperatures I'm hearing about I would think that overnight pumping should be enough.
