Major leakonthe clamp ring of my booster pump

Booster pump started leaking at the clamp. I applied a multi purpose lubricant-sealant with PTFE. This minimized the leaking but not completely. any recommendation or advice is highly appreciated. We're going below freezing tonight and I really need to get this solved.

I am just now able to reply with a picture because it has taken this long to get the part from Poolcenter.com. It's amazing at how I've ordered other items after this one and they came several days before. I am very unhappy with delivery time from Poolcenter.com. I order a new o-ring to try to stop the leak around the clap band. To no avail though. I'm not sure what else to do.

If the o-ring didn't do it, the flange on the front section of the wet end is cracked and needs replacing. If it's not available, then put a Polaris booster pump in it's place and replumb as needed.

Definitely looks cracked to me. Do you have a shut off valve for that line? If so I'd shut it off and take off the band to let the pump and plumbing drain out.

Excuse my ignorance of what a flange is. Are talking about the metal band clamp?

I agree with spishex. The housing looks cracked to me. You need to pull the pump apart and take a good look at the housing near the flange. You may be able to buy a replacement part.

The flange is the outer part of the housing the clamp holds.

I'm sure you have fixed this by now, but the terminology your looking for is a volute, for a Polaris QT pump. It's the latest generation from Polaris, so it's available.
