Low water temp but SWCG producing

Just checked on my pool's chlorine level just the quick and dirty color test since it doesn't really matter. Water temp is 53 and still got almost 2 weeks until my closing appointment. Looks like it is well over 10 the color was dark yellow. At this point I think I will turn it off for good. With that temp I don't think anything will grow at all and I still want to add Polyquat before they close in 2 weeks. I was surprised it would produce at such a low temp I thought most of them stopped around 60.

The AquaPure stops producing at 50 degrees. It will display Lo when the water temperature is too low.

LO – indicates that the water temperature is less than 51 deg. F

Aquarite is 50 degrees.
Intellichlor is 52 degrees.
Autopilot is 55 degrees.
