Monitor problem

It's almost always the operating system.

which operating system do you have?

What computer do you have?

Windows has a reputation for not liking sleep mode. (more correctly some programs)

have you installed any new programs lately?

You want to make sure you keep your computer cleaned up. At least once a week you want to do some maintenance on the system. You need to run an adware cleaner, a malware cleaner, spyware cleaner, and a registry cleaner. When you delete a program be sure you uninstall it and not just delete the icon. Be sure you empty out the deleted files (trash can icon) on a regular basis as well. Do not buy, install, or click on anything that pops up and says you have a problem when you are on the internet, they cause more problems 9 times out of 10. A good source for free systems maintenance programs is kim komando (http://www.komando.com) There is a lot of good information on the website, and it has a message board for members to post questions. You can read the message board without a membership (membership is around $6 a month), you just can't post questions without it.
