Dpd powder dipper size?

My wife lost the dpd powder dipper....GRRRRRR. Anybody know how big it is and how to approximate it? i.e. use 1/4 of a 1/8 teaspoon or something?

It is tiny. And the amount does not really matter too much. You can't use too much (within reason), but too little can make the end point hard to distinguish.
Just use the handle of a spoon or Popsicle stick to add a little powder, if you get a nice deep pink, that should be plenty.

Mine claims to be 0.05ml, which is 1/100 of a teaspoon.

The amount isn’t critical, so long as it’s clearly pink.

You want to have some left in the bottom not dissolved, that way you know there is enough powder in.

How much powder do you have left? The stuff has a good shelf life. Buy a replacement and use the spoon from that, then when you use up what's left of the first batch, you'll be good-to-go with the second...
