Is this a professional water test kit?

What do you think? Since you're 'in the industry' you must surely have an opinion. I'm just a homeowner with a backyard pool which I maintain with BBB. I'd be interested to know what a pool maintenance professional thinks of either of these kits.

Having read Pool School you should be able to discuss the pros and cons of each.

As you know from reading Test Kits Compared in the Pool School, the second link to the FAS-DPD kit is preferred. FAS-DPD is not the same as DPD. Taylor shows a demo of the FAS-DPD kit here and describes its advantages over traditional OTO and DPD chlorine tests.

Looks like the Leslie's version of a Taylor K-2005 but with bigger bottle of reagents and, as Richard said, no FAS-DPD. To be a truly "service complete" kit, you need the FAS-DPD test and not just the plain vanilla DPD. Kinda handicapped without the FAS component.

Better to get a TF-100 if you can and call it good.
