Circuit breaker trips every time

Hi guys,

Circuit breaker trips immediately when I turn on the timer. From what I see the timer and pump are on the same circuit. So, nothing is turning on. I believe it is the timer and since its the cheapest part to replace I willing to try that first. Any suggestions?

Mike,

Unscrew the wires going from the timer to the pump, and then if the breaker pops you will know for sure it is the timer. If it does not pop then of course it is most likely the pump.
