Possible Chemistry issue

Here is the data asked for yesterday concerning the white flakes floating in my pool. I googled and read the threads and had my water tested today..

I went to the LPS and had water tested since I only have a basic test kit which I will replace very soon with a more extensive kit to perform all test needed to track my pools chemistry. The water here where I live is as hard as granite I am contemplating installing a water softener just for the pool. I drained 3 feet of the pool in July/Aug.

FC= 3.0
TC= 4.0
PH= 7.4
TA= 110
CH= 450
CYA= 25
Phos= 100
Salt= 3200 by test strip
Salt =3100 reading on SWG display

I don't remember what your problem was and since this seem to be part of an earlier thread maybe one of the mods can merge it into that thread so you'll get more response.
